The AI Operations Workshop is a free four-part webinar series from AJ Projects Partners covering how a company runs on AI end to end — from using Claude properly, to managing agents, to deciding which processes are worth automating and which are not, to keeping the whole thing secure. Sessions run live and virtual, and in person at our Plano, Texas office.

Why This Exists

Everyone Has Used AI. Almost Nobody Is Running On It.

Most companies are at the same place: several people using Claude or ChatGPT well enough to draft an email faster, a subscription or two nobody audits, and no honest answer to what any of it returned.

That gap isn't a skill problem. Using a chat window is genuinely easy, and people learn it in an afternoon. What nobody hands you is the layer above it — how to make output consistent across a team, how to connect AI to the systems where your work actually lives, how to decide which processes deserve automating, and how to do all of that without quietly creating a security and compliance problem.

Those four things are what separate a company where a few people are faster from a company that operates differently. They're also, not coincidentally, the four sessions below.

We teach it free because the argument is easier to make than to describe. A meaningful part of this series is about when not to automate something — and that's a difficult case to make in a sales conversation.

Fluency — Using Claude Like a Workspace

You leave able to do real work in Claude, and to hand your team a skill that makes their output consistent.

  • Claude Cowork as a structured environment rather than a chat window — and getting materials back in your brand and your tone without re-explaining yourself every time
  • Projects: how they scope context, and why one project per domain beats one giant project
  • Claude Code — where your team's skills live, get versioned, and get shared
  • Connectors, MCP, and APIs: what each can reach, where each stops, and how to read a tool's API docs fast enough to be useful

Orchestration — The Chief of Staff, and What It Costs

You leave with one agent that runs your day, and a token bill you can explain.

  • External memory with Obsidian — and why it's a cost strategy, not just an organization strategy
  • Auditing your token usage, and where the waste actually concentrates
  • Model routing across Opus 5, Sonnet 5, Haiku 4.5 and Fable 5 — which class of work belongs to each, and why matching the model to the difficulty of the task rather than the importance of the requester is where AI budgets are won or lost
  • The Chief of Staff agent, built live: plan, execute, communicate, and the fourth job everyone skips — retrieve

Operations — What's Actually Worth Automating

Governance — Knowledge and Security

  • Why internal knowledge is the asset — the model is a commodity, what your company knows is not
  • Organizing by role and title so the right context reaches the right agent and no further
  • The drift anti-pattern: why dumping everything into one place and letting the AI read through it produces confidently wrong output — and why a bigger context window doesn't fix it
  • What is safe to give an AI, what access an agent should never hold, and criteria for judging a tool yourself, since the list changes monthly

Nothing. All four sessions are free, virtually or in person. We run it because the fastest way to show what we do is to teach the method rather than describe it — including the parts of the method that argue against automating something.

No. Each session has its own outcome and stands on its own, so come to whichever are useful. They genuinely do build on each other — session three's business case is much easier once you've seen session two's routing — so attending in order gets you the most. Every registrant receives every recording regardless.

No. This is built for the people who own the work and the people who own the decisions. A technical stakeholder is useful when session one reaches connectors and APIs, but you will not be asked to write code, and nothing assumes an engineering background.

The material is identical. Pick in person if you want working time with our engineers and a look at your own systems while you're in the room; pick virtual if the calendar or the geography makes that hard. In-person seats are capped so that everyone in the room actually gets that working time.

It's a working session. We teach the same method we run with clients, and a meaningful part of it is how to tell when automation isn't worth it. If you want to talk about running it on your own operation afterward we're glad to — but that conversation starts with you, not with us.

The hands-on work is in Claude — Cowork and Claude Code — because that's what we build on and we'd rather demonstrate something real than survey a category. But the method is not tool-specific: the automation business case, the SOP-to-agent translation, the knowledge architecture and the security line all apply whatever you end up running.
